Louis Walsh reveals the HUGE paycheck he got for CBB and it’s more than you think
LOUIS Walsh has revealed he was paid an astonishing amount to appear in Celebrity Big Brother.
The 71-year-old pocketed £850,000 for his stint in the house after he was chased for three years to appear.
The Sun previously told how he was getting half a million, but Louis now claims it was in fact more than that.
He explained: “They said I was going to be safe, it was going to be fun, that I would probably win it. I told them I don’t want to win it. Don’t waste it on me. Give it to someone else.
“They said they really, really wanted me. They kept on at me, and still I said no, because I was scared. I don’t want to be a celebrity.
"It’s a fake world. I have no desire. I like music and staying under the radar. I still haven’t watched it. And I don’t want to.”

When asked if it was £350k, he revealed the real amount, but added: “It was nothing like I thought it would be. It wasn’t easy.”
Louis came fourth on the first series of the show to air on ITV, which was won by Ibiza Weekender star David Potts.
The former X Factor judge hit headlines during his time on the show as he shared a barrage of barbed comments about fellow stars, including about Jedward, Ronan Keating, James Corden and Anna Wintour.
He later said of his outspoken comments: "I think it's an Irish thing, we tend to say what we feel."
Asked during an interview on This Morning if he forgot he was being filmed when he made some of the comments, he said: "A little bit, I wasn't being malicious about it. I was just kind of telling people what they're really like.
"You know, I wasn't being malicious. Nobody is perfect and I have worked with people that I've said things about that I kind of regret.
"I do regret that, especially on national (television) but that's me. I'm very outspoken."
