Jon got into character as a grandpa experiencing life from an older perspective.

In Meet The Richardsons, Jon and his wife Lucy, 40, portray exaggerated versions of themselves in a mockumentary style.

Richardson became well-known in British comedy after joining the 8 Out Of 10 Cats Does Countdown team in 2011.

Jon has also made appearances in a number of well-known TV shows including: Never Mind The Buzzcocks, Would I Lie To You?, and Taskmaster.

Jon and Lucy dated for two years before they married in April 2015.

They were introduced to each other by mutual friend, famous comedian Roisin Conaty.

Jon and Lucy now live in Hebden Bridge together with their daughter Elsie Louise, who was born in September 2016.

The comedian has spoken out many times about his battle with Obsessive Compulsive Disorder.

He uses his compulsive tendencies as the basis for much of his humour and in 2013, he made a film called A Little Bit OCD which examined his need for perfection and cleanliness on Channel 4.
