PALS of death plunge Gogglebox star George Gilbey’s family have helped raise funds to pay for his funeral.
They have created a GoFundMe page to cover costs of his send-off.
Yesterday, it had raised more than £700 from friends and well-wishers giving donations to help his grieving mother Linda McGarry, 74.
Dad-of-one George, 40, an electrician, fell from a warehouse roof in Shoebury, Essex, on Wednesday morning.
Family friend Ricci Guarnaccio, who appeared with him on Celebrity Big Brother in 2014, said: “It is too much for Linda to process at the moment but other family and friends are doing what they can to help.
“People are chipping in, which is great, and, if there is any money left over, it will go to George’s beautiful daughter.”

The fundraiser is now being organised by Rob Barlow, of Clacton Funeral Service in George’s home town in Essex.
It organised the 2021 funeral for Linda’s late husband, Peter, who starred with her and his stepson George on Gogglebox.
Mr Barlow told The Sun on Sunday: “It is terribly sad what happened to George.
“He was a bubbly character and loved by a lot of people.”
