EASTENDERS fans pleaded with producers to bring back an iconic character after another mention.
BBC viewers are convinced that David Wicks (played by Michael French) is set to make a return to Walford after they spotted a clue in Wednesday's episode.
In one scene, Priya had dinner with her new boyfriend Martin at Walford East.
The pair seemed to get along well and as they sat down for their meal, Priya and Martin talked about their lives.
Martin shared more about his family and mentioned David Wicks - sparking a frenzy with fans.
David was a major character in EastEnders after joining the soap back in 1993.

He's the son of Pat Evans and Pete Beale, and is Ian Beale's half-brother.
He is the dad of Bianca Jackson, Joe Wicks and Karen Wicks.
His first ever appearance showed him attending his dad's funeral, after Pete died in a car crash just two weeks before.
David disappeared in 1996, but made a surprise but brief return in 2012 to see his mum Pat who was dying.

Pat passed away in David's arms and David decided leave for New Zealand shortly after her funeral and hasn't been seen since.
However, he has had many mentions throughout the years and now fans are convinced David will make a return in the very near future.
Taking to social media, one fan said: "Yet another David mention today from Martin this time! Can he hurry up and come back already?"
Another added: "Mark and David mentions today classics stans are WINNING."
This comes after many other iconic characters have made a shocking return, including Cindy Beale (played by .)
Cindy was believed to be dead after giving birth to her daughter Cindy Junior in prison.
However, she showed up last year and revealed she was in hiding before reuniting with ex-husband Ian Beale (Adam Woodyatt).
The surprises kept on coming after the Knight family recognised Cindy as Rose Knight, George Knight's ex-wife and Gina and Molly Knight's mum.
More recently, David and Carol's daughter Bianca Jackson (Patsy Palmer) returned to the square.
Could they be lining up a return for David too?
