Ruby Wax told ‘get out of the ward’ after tricking mum into breastfeeding her newborn baby so chest ‘isn’t ruined’

RUBY Wax has revealed she was asked to leave a hospital ward after tricking a woman into breastfeeding her newborn son.

The British-American comedian and actress made the shocking admission during an appearance on Mel Giedroyc's UKTV series Unforgivable.

It sees a raft of famous faces tell their most outrageous stories in a bid to become Mel and her panel's most unforgivable person in the room.

Recounting her pregnancy with her eldest child Max Bye, the 70-year-old revealed she caused a stir in the hospital.

Ruby explained to Mel, 55, how she married her husband at the time Ed Bye because she had "one egg left, one egg coming down the pipe".

The star said: "So I got pregnant but I didn't read the manuals you're supposed to read and my waters broke at an Indian restaurant on a man next to me.

Ruby safely delivered a baby boy, who she named Max, now 36 years old.

However, she was asked to leave the hospital ward when she tried to 'trick' another mum into breastfeeding Max.

Ruby explained: "He's born and I knew nothing. I'm in a room with a woman and I don't know what to do so I keep waking her up at night, I didn't know anything.

"At one point I really didn't want to have my breasts touched, so she was milking hers and I kinda put him [the baby] near her breast.

"Then she woke up and said 'I want her out of here'.

"I said to the nurses 'no it's ok I don't need my own room I'll share with her' and she said 'no, she wanted you out of there'."

Wax's story left Mel, 55, and the entire studio audience in shock before they erupted into fits of laughter.
