SINITTA has reacted to Louis Walsh’s savage takedowns in the Celebrity Big Brother house, telling our podcast “I am very accustomed and used to Louis!”
Fans were shocked when Louis critiqued his old friend’s appearance as part of the family and friends’ visits.
He laughed: “Why did they send Sinitta? It was so random but it was so funny. You don’t know how crazy she is, but she’s really nice.”
He then went on: “But I haven’t seen her for years. But…. she was probably available.”
Now Sinitta has exposed the secrets of their decades-long friendship, first forged when she was a teen popstar and Louis was a club promoter.
The chart icon chatted to The Sun’s , in association with , ahead of the series finale.
She said: “I’m surprised he didn’t say a lot worse about me because as soon as he sees me he says ‘oh it’s Sinitta from the Eighties.
“He winds me up about being an ancient pop star, can she really sing?
“He spends the whole time insulting me and it’s really funny so I never really take offence!
“What’s been really interesting is strangers watching him, do they understand that this is Louis’ sense of humour?
“Like do they just think he’s being mean?”
Elsewhere, Sinitta spills the beans on whether she thinks Louis will ever mend his friendship with Simon Cowell after he and Sharon Osbourne slated their former X Factor boss in the spy house.
She added: “Louis has really been himself and it’s amazing that he’s still there, as that could’ve gone either way right?
“That is Louis – the world thinks he’s a doddery old man, who’s in love with all the bad acts and makes all these bad decisions.
“But there’s another side of Louis that’s very sharp and witty but you have to see it for yourself and now the world has seen it.”
On today’s Celebrity Big Brother Breakdown podcast we also share the secrets of the CBB final day, including hours-long shoots in the Diary Room, glam squad and layers of fake tan.
