Celebrity Big Brother 2024 LIVE final – who won? David Potts bags the most votes to be crowned CBB king
David Potts has been crowned the winner of Celebrity Big Brother 2024 after three weeks of drama, feuds and brutal evictions.
The Ibiza Weekender star was announced the series champ following a tense live final, hosted by AJ Odudu and Will Best.
David, 30, fought off competition from his fellow finalists Fern Britton, Louis Walsh, Colson Smith and Nikita Kuzmin before triumphing.
He and Nikita were the last men standing, before AJ and Will called out David's name - much to his amazement.
The stunned reality star, who had his bare legs on show and repeatedly used his "slay" catchphrase, then proceeded to kick off his slip-ons and pace around the house barefoot.
Speaking on spin-off show Celebrity Big Brother Late and Live, David gushed: "I've had such a good time, the housemates were so amazing and I just felt like we made our own fun."

Celebrity Big Brother fans demand huge shake-up
Big Brother fans have welcomed the news that the show will be making a return this year.
The announcement was made by hosts AJ Odudu and Will Best while presenting the Celebrity edition's finale on Friday.
But some are crying out for Big Brother execs to restore the show's former feel after claiming it has become "too glossy" and reminds them of "Love Island."
The demand comes from an unnamed poster, whose username swipes inspiration from ITV drama Bad Girls character Sylvia 'BodyBag' Hollamby.
The user created a master thread and detailed what they want to see on the next series.
They penned: "As this series of CBB comes to a close tonight, here is a thread of what needs to be changed next year for civilian in order for ITV to regain BB as a smash hit"
One of the key changes they want is a removal of the glamorous decor in the house, and instead want the house to be dirty.
They continued: "These two series have been too luxurious to be a Big Brother house. I need dirt and filth to work housemates to the bone.
"It’s back to basics not Love Island Villa, I want them to go mad, not treated like royalty."
STRICTLY BUSINESS
CBB fans claim to have spotted a clue that confirms the serie's producers had no idea who was going to take the show's crown.
Swooping on X, formerly known as Twitter, eagle-eyed viewers noticed a specific audience in the crowd.
The fans said the Late and Live audience was packed with Strictly Come Dancing related stars, including Layton Williams, Lauren Oakly and Carlos Gu.
One fan tweeted: "Well done David although not gonna lie I thought the Strictly fan base would come good for Nikita."
Another added: "Strictly fans and Facebook mums have been defeated, thank god."
A third fan said: "Aw, Layton and Carlos in the crowd for Nikita, my Strictly boys."
And a fourth penned: "We defeated the evil strictly fans."
Nikita ended up taking second place on the show and was seen celebrating his silver medal at the show's wrap party with his model girlfriend Lauren Jaine.
A SIX-FIGURE POT-TS
CBB champion David Potts could soon be netting six-figure sums after emerging victorious on last night’s finale.
Beating housemates Nikita Kuzmin, Colson Smith, Louis Walsh and Fern Britton, the Ibiza Weekender legend trotted out of the ITV victorious on Friday night.
And now, a celebrity PR has claimed that Potts could soon be raking in six-figure fees on future projects.
Speaking exclusively to The Sun, celebrity PR Ed Hopkins, said: "I’m confident he will be signing six-figure deals in the coming months,”
“I’m sure projects are already signed and agreed, and if he works hard, there’s no reason why he couldn’t earn a million in the next two years. ITV will look after him.”
About last night: CBB stars celebrate end of the show
CBB's stars were out in full force last night to celebrate the end of the show, in a wild wrap party that started after Potts was passed the crown.
The glittery party took place at the Grand Junction Arms pub in North London, close to where the Big Brother house is located in Harlesden.
As bottles were popped David and Troy were seen congratulating winner Potts in a packed outdoor terrace.
Nikita was seen hand-in-hand with his stunningly beautiful model girlfriend Lauren Jaine.
First out the house Fern Britton managed to share a smile and a wave as she headed home at the end of the celebrations, and left looking as elegant as she did when she first arrived.
The show's after party signalled the end of the action-packed three-week series which saw Louis Walsh finish in fourth place.
CBB Fans have labelled the show a 'fix'
Eagle-eyed fans of the show claimed it was 'fixed' after David Potts took the top prize on Friday's penultimate finale of the show.
Some jumped online and claimed that Potts "received the most air time" and was picked for "all the secret tasks."
Some also questioned how Nikita held a silver medal for his time in the house.
Reacting to the reality star's win, one fan remarked on X - formerly known as Twitter: "Who didn't see that coming? David had the most airtime, he was picked for all the secret tasks. Total fix #CBBUK."
A second enquired: "How t* did he end up 2nd when he brought nothing to the series? Of course, it's a fix. #CBBUK #BBUK."
Louis Walsh revealed he almost quit the show twice
Walsh was a hit with fans as he shared insider gossip from his many years in showbiz.
But not pulling his weight in the kitchen meant the 71-year-old left his housemates angry - who nominated him out throughout his three-week stint on the show.
The X factor ace said he struggled with his mental health and wanted to "climb over the wall" twice during his time on the show.
He said: "I am so glad to be out. We had a brilliant time. It was scary, it’s the best show in town but it’s scary.
"I nearly wanted to go a few times. It really is tough at night time. Daytime is okay.
"There were two times I wanted to leave, I wanted to climb over the wall. I had anxiety for one or two nights."
Fern Britton broke down in tears while she addressed 'feud' with Nikitz Kuzmin
Former This Morning presenter Fern was the first of the CBB bunch to be evicted on the show's climatic final episode.
She was seen to be full of emotion while talking about her time with Walsh, Potts, Nikita and Colson Smith.
Fern also addressed her issues with Nikkita, but revealed that the pair had put their differences aside.
CBB fans went nuts as they caught a glimpse of Colson Smith's secret girlfriend
Coronation Street star Colson finished third on the show, and while in the house he candidly opened up about his love life.
Shocked fans watched on as he admitted to being taken while nattering with Louis Walsh and Sharon Osbourne earlier this month.
When he made his way out of the famous house he was greeted by partner Taylor and fans jumped on X to share their glee at the sight.
One wrote on the social media platform: "That’s his girlfriend.
"After that kiss? it’s not his mum or sister is it colson?"
Former X Factor acts of Louis Walsh have celebrated his CBB loss
Jedward, real names John and Edward Grimes, jumped on X, formerly known as Twitter, to share their delight at Walsh's loss with celeb friend Gemma Collins.
The pair tweeted: "F**k Yes Louis is not the winner #CBBUK Mission Complete."
71-year-old Louis finished fourth on the show, with Ibiza Weekender legend David Potts taking the top spot.
Twinning is winning
Celebrity Big Brother winner David Potts was greeted by his twin brother following his win.
David's secret twin Matthew was spotted in the audience during the Ibiza Weekender star's exit interview with AJ and Will - and fans went wild.
One viewer wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter: "David's twin is hot!"
Another added: "DAVID’S TWIN BROTHER!!!!! Waa waa wee waah!"
And a third chimed in: "David’s twin brother is so fit!"
Big Brother's U-turn
Zeze Millz was allowed to attend the live final of Celebrity Big Brother despite "offensive" tweets resurfacing this week.
The Sun uncovered shocking historic posts made on the social media platform Twitter, now known as X, back in November 2010 and May 2011.
Last year, however, contestant Trish Balusa was banned from BB spin-off Late and Live and the final episode following the emergence of historic 'racist and homophobic' tweets.
Ekin-Who?
Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu did not attend last night's live Celebrity Big Brother final.
The Love Island winner pulled out of the show following her car crash exit interview last week.
Many fans were surprised that Ekin-Su was not present and took to social media with their concerns.
One wrote: "I hope Ekin-Su is alright, fair enough that she didn't want to come tonight."
Another added: "Not really surprised about Sharon or Gary but Ekin-Su has not been seen at all since she left has she?"
Ekin-Su, who has withdrawn from all TV interviews following her CBB exit, was also notably absent from her social media accounts during the live final.
Almost a quitter
Louis Walsh finished Celebrity Big Brother in fourth place.
But after walking out of the doors, the X Factor judge admitted he almost quit the show several times.
Louis told hosts AJ and Will: "I am so glad to be out. We had a brilliant time but it was scary, it’s the best show in town but it’s scary.
"I nearly wanted to go a few times. It really is tough at night time. Daytime is okay.
"There were two times I wanted to leave, I wanted to climb over the wall. I had anxiety one or two of the nights."
Gary's gone
One housemate missing from last night's live final was Gary Goldsmith, Kate Middleton's uncle.
Just three hours before the show kicked off, the Princess of Wales confirmed she is receiving cancer treatment.
In the wake of the shock announcement, Gary bowed out of the live CBB final, saying: "Following today’s news, I will not be attending tonight’s Celebrity Big Brother final.
"I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks to my fellow Housemates and to everyone involved in the making of this brilliant show.
"I hope you all enjoy your special night."
Gary was the first CBB housemate to be evicted from the 2024 series.
Final recap
This year's Celebrity Big Brother winner has been announced, but what order did the finalists finish in?
Fifth place: Fern Britton was first out the door.
Fourth place: Next up, Louis Walsh was evicted.
Third place: Corrie's Colson Smith finished in third place,
Second place: Strictly Come Dancing's Nikita Kuzmin is this year's runner up.
First place: Ibiza Weekender's David Potts has won this year's CBB.
Sharon's back!
Sharon Osbourne has made her comeback to Celebrity Big Brother for the live final.
The X Factor judge, who was a CBB house guest for the first week, recorded a video for the finalists from her home in Los Angeles.
Sitting on a plush sofa surrounded by three of her nine dogs, Sharon said in the clip: "I just wanted to say congratulations to you all to make it through.
"Just to let you know one more time that I enjoyed everyone's company.
"I had blast in that house. I missed my dogs, but I had a blast."
Sharon continued: "I've missed our dinners. Since I got home, I've not had one cooked meal, so can someone fly over and cook for us?"
Addressing her good friend and former X Factor co-star Louis Walsh, she then warned: "Louis, you've been a very naughty boy. We're going to have words with you."
Slay-vid is the winner
Celebrity Big Brother 2024 has certainly given us a lot.
Drama, bickers, rows, laughs, b**ching... and even new names.
Since emerging from the house victorious, David has renamed host AJ Odudu 'Slay J Odudu'.
Slay J's co-host Will Best has now also joined in the fun and renamed David 'Slay-vid'.
Slay-mazing.
Fans swoon
Celebrity Big Brother fans love David Potts so much that they've voted him this year's winner of the show.
Cheering him on from the audience is his twin brother - and viewers are swooning for him, too!
One wrote on X: "Ehhhh David’s twin is hot!"
Slay-J
David has officially renamed AJ Odudu 'Slay J'.
And given her gorgeous metallic dress tonight, her new moniker couldn't be more apt!
THIS is the reason David won CBB. He is hilarious!
Channel swap
Celebrity Big Brother fans have been left baffled after the show quickly changed channels.
David's exit interview is now on ITV1's sister channel ITV2, but some viewers fear the winner has been snubbed.
One wrote on X: "All of the finalists being interviewed on ITV1 and then the WINNER being interviewed on ITV2. Atrocious disrespect."
David, David, David!
David has slipped his shoes back on and he's left the Celebrity Big Brother house as the WINNER!
And the crowd is going absolutely wild.
I'm relieved he's got his loafers back on. I wouldn't want to see him tread on a rogue stone.
BB is open
Applications for the new series of Big Brother are open.
This means the civilian series is definitely returning following its successful comeback last year.
Are you brave enough to apply?
Feeling slay
David has certainly slayed it all the way!
He's pacing around in that CBB house barefoot and in total shock after being crowned the winner.
"I feel shocked, on top of the world. I can't believe it," he said.
"I feel slay, I'm ready to take on the day, get me on that runway."
Any minute it now, David, and you'll be on that CBB runway!
Nice Nikita
Nikita couldn't sound more happy about finishing CBB as the runner-up if he tried.
He keeps thanking fans for voting for him and seems genuinely amazed he made it to the very end.
Nikita also insists his feud with Fern is over, just like she did during her exit interview.
But Will and AJ seem to be going far easier on him with the questioning about their fallout...
Leg it to the finish
It's great to see David Potts has finished Celebrity Big Brother just as he started - with his legs on show, loud and proud.
Sharon Osbourne found his leggy display a bit much when he first entered the CBB house, and some fans were in agreement.
But bless him. The UK has embraced the Ibiza Weekender's mahogany legs and I for one and delighted to see them tonight!
