It comes after fans leaped to social media to speculate that the Craig Tinker actor had become the latest evictee.

Colson's co-stars defended the actor on their podcast, On The Sofa with Colson, Jack and Ben.

Ben Price, who plays longstanding Nick Tilsley on the ITV soap, told listeners: “What's happened is someone has gone but they didn't show it which I think is rubbish."

Co-host Jack. P Shepherd added: “It’s a s***show.”

It was previously revealed that one of the remaining CBB housemates would be leaving in a shock 'back door' eviction with the live stream pulled off air as it happened.

After being evicted from the house on Tuesday, Marisha Wallace appeared on Late and Live yesterday and appeared to 'give away' which celeb had just missed out on tomorrow's final.

The Broadway star, 38, insisted that Coronation Street's Colson Smith "wouldn't cope" with leaving in that way, adding: "He would be hurt, he would be very upset."

When the camera cut to host AJ Odudu she could be seen grimacing - causing fans to rush to social media to have their say.

One wrote: "Did anyone catch this on L&L? Marisha saying Colson would handle a back door eviction the worst and AJ’s facial expression."

During the latest round of nominations, Colson accused Marisha of scheming her way to win.

Speaking to The Sun and other publications, Marisha said: "I did not understand that. I don’t know why it’s a bad thing!

"I was like, ‘How can I be a game player in a game?’ How can you be called out for being a game player?

"Everyone was playing the game in their own way, I just said what I was doing.

"Everyone wants to win - nobody wants to be kicked out of the house. We were doing all the things we could to not get nominated and to not lose certain privileges in the house."
