Viewers watched as the crew arrived at single mother Rachel's house, where she lives with her two daughters.

Poignant moment

During the show, Stacey, 34, removed 103 old planks of wood, 277 medals and 829 pieces of fabric.

Things took a more personal turn when Rachel found her ex-husband Darren's proposal speech.

It resulted in the mum-of-two becoming upset as she opened up on her ex's new woman.

'Emotional baggage'

For viewers at home, they were left fuming at Stacey and the BBC for airing the 'intrusive' scenes.

One said: "Too much emotional baggage in this episode. Too intrusive. Not our place to be party to this."

A second wrote: "Both parties more than willing to appear on TV show due to their marriage breakup? How is this even a thing? #sortyourlifeout Bloody hell."
