ROB Beckett has revealed that his Celeb Bake Off co-star Alexandra Burke was left so angry at him getting a Hollywood Handshake, that she would secretly bring in her bakes again for a second try.
Opening up about his experience on the competition to the panel of his Sky quiz show, Rob Beckett's Smart TV, he revealed how the singer would repeat the challenge at home to bring in an improved version after the challenges went wrong.
Paul Hollywood and Prue Leith were forced to judge the attempt behind the scenes.
Rob, 38, took part in The Great Celebrity Bake Off for SU2C back in 2021, alongside Alexandra, 35, actress Daisy Ridley and fellow comedian turned TV presenter Tom Allen.
But despite having little to no baking experience, Rob surprised himself and his co-stars when he was awarded a handshake from Paul Hollywood, leaving baking lover Alexandra frustrated.
He served up a delicious millionaires shortbread for the judges, who were blown away by him as the "dark horse" of the competition.

Chatting about the Channel 4 show with new host Alison Hammond, a panellist on his quiz series, he revealed that Alexandra got her own back.
Rob said: "When I was on Celebrity Bake Off, I got the handshake.
"But the problem was, Alexandra Burke was quite jealous because she was also on it, and she really wanted to win, she bakes all the time.
"It got to the point where because I'd got a handshake, and she didn't, because we did it over a few days, she'd bring in a re-baked version of what she'd done earlier.

"She'd give it to Prue and Paul, and they would have to eat it off camera and go, 'Oh yes, it is better'."
Holding up his hand to emulate a handshake, Rob added: "But it wasn't that good though, was it?!"
Unfortunately for Rob, Alexandra was awarded the Bake Off apron at the end of the episode, despite Paul revealing it was "a close call".
It's not the first time there's been a shock admission on Rob's new game show, which test celebrities knowledge of TV pop culture.
Last month, Jamie Laing left panellists red in the face as he opened up about a very X-rated video gone wrong.
As his co-star Russell Tovey spoke about his life as a werewolf in ITV drama Being Human, Jamie made a shock confession.
He said: "Speaking of werewolves, have you ever recorded yourself getting a bit frisky? Because when I was younger, my ex-girlfriend and I tried.
“I thought it would be funny to try it, but we had to delete it quickly because I sounded like a werewolf.
“At one point I started barking, it was like Scooby-Doo.”
Alison chimed in: "What I'd say is, don't record yourself, don't take pictures, don't do FaceTime, don't do any of that."
