EASTENDERS fans had to do a double take after a 'brand new location' appeared in Walford - ranting 'it's never been there before!'
Wednesday's episode of the BBC soap saw the residents of Albert Square preparing for Jade Green's fundraiser at the Queen Vic.
But in another scene, Honey Mitchell was seen heading across the Square when she heard someone coughing loudly.
Glancing to her left, she saw her son William down a passageway at the side of one row of houses.
The teen was smoking a vape, but was clearly struggling with it as he coughed after each puff.
Furious, she called his name and marched over to him in the alleyway and taking the vape off him, she asked: "Where did you get this?"

As he continued to cough, she continued: "Is this why you were feeling sick this morning?"
Will started to protest but she raged: "You are 16, Will! I mean, who sold it to you anyway?
"Don't even think about lying to me either!"
However, some EastEnders fans were distracted by the scene taking place in an area they felt they hadn't seen before.
Taking to X - formerly Twitter - one wrote: "I wanna know where this passage has been??? It’s never been there before, surely????"
A fellow viewer replied: "i think when they rebuilt the set last year they added a lot of places, like back gardens of houses, alleys etc."
EastEnders opened its new set in Spring 2022 after spending £87 million on updating it.
The Sun Online then revealed in March last year that there were plans in place for a new backlot stage with a host of new filming locations.
