Last year, Love Island viewers were treated to a spin-off series, Love Island Games, which brought together past contestants from various international versions of the show.

It was eventually won by British hunk Jack Fowler and American stunner Justine Joy Ndiba.

The pair seemed to be going strong after the show ended, but earlier on Saturday, Jack confirmed they were no longer dating.

Taking to his Instagram Stories, the 28-year-old wrote against a black backdrop: "BIG love to everyone who supported me and Justine in Love Island Games.

"Winning together was actually mental. Feels like ages ago now lol but just wanted to say we are keeping it as friends."

He concluded: "It's all love and vibes between us" alongside two red love heart emojis.

While Jack also shared snaps of his gym routine and DJ'ing on his Instagram, across the pond, Justine was out at a Bad Bunny concert in Los Angeles.

Justine said: "I feel like we live so far away from each other, so right now we’re just 100 per cent doing our best.”

Jack added: "It’s hard because I’ve obviously got work in London. That’s where my family is and all the rest of it. And obviously, Justine is here.

"So there’s a big bit of water in between us. But we talk every day when we’re apart, like on Facetime.

“But I get to talk to Justine about it and I know some parts of the show were quite difficult for us both, so I think we’ve just tried our best to be there for each other more than anything.

"But no, we’re trying our damn best. We are literally taking it day by day and enjoying each other’s time.”
