‘I miss them!’ moan baffled EastEnders fans as ‘iconic’ Walford friendship ‘broken up’ with no explanation
Eve is unaware that both Stacey and her girlfriend are hiding a big secret
EASTENDERS fans have begged the soap’s writers to put two closely connected characters in scenes together again.
Eve Unwin (Heather Peace) was introduced in 2021 as the wife of soap icon Stacey Slater (Lacey Turner), with the pair having met in prison.

In recent years the pair have moved on to different storylines, with Stacey becoming involved in an affair with Jack Branning (Scott Maslen).
Eve, on the other hand, has enjoyed an enduring romance with Suki Panesar (Balvinder Sopal).
Fans are furious Stacey and Eve haven’t shared the screen as of late and begged for the two characters to be brought back together.
One viewer lamented: “They were one of the biggest highlights last year but we’ve barely seen them interact since Christmas. I miss them.”

Another shared: “I am surprised that neither Stacey or Suki have told Eve about Keanu, as they would know Eve would be on their side.
“It's like Jay and Gina, another great friendship, and when was the last time they had a scene together?”
A third added: “I actually think it’s out of both Stacey & Suki’s characters to wanna keep that from Eve, they know how loyal she is towards them.”
Suki turned her back on treacherous husband Nish (Navin Chowdhry) in late 2023 to be with lover Eve, after months of hesitation and doubts.

While the two got their ‘happily ever after,’ Eve is unaware of Suki’s involvement in Keanu Taylor’s (Danny Walters) death, along with Stacey and four other women dubbed The Six.
The pair, along with Sharon Watts (Letitia Dean), Denise Fox (Diane Parish), Linda Carter (Kellie Bright) and Kathy Beale (Gillian Taylforth) have been covering up Keanu’s murder since Christmas.
