The Scot will be hosting Key to a Fortune

The Scot is known for showing Brits around charming properties in sunny spots such as the south of France and Spain as they look to retire abroad.

Now the impressive TV personality has added another string to her bow, and will be joining Key to a Fortune.

Jean is going to be responsible for tracking down the rightful inheritors to properties that were left to them by a distant relative who didn’t write a will.

Viewers will get the chance to see the presenter surprise guests with their unexpected windfall.

She will be accompanied by a team of property experts on all six episodes of the new series.

This group is set to include Property Investor and Mortgage Broker Tayo Oguntonade, Designer and Property Expert Kunle Barker, Carpenter and Construction Expert Raphael Meade, and Property Developer Stuart Douglas.

Once inheritors discover they now suddenly own a house, they have to decide what to do with it.

Jean will be there to talk guests through their options which include moving into the property, sharing it, renovating it, or selling it.

The presenter recently revealed a revolting secret about the clothes she wears on A Place in the Sun.

She admitted that what viewers didn’t realise is the cast ‘stink’ – because they have to ‘wear the same outfits for six days straight’ for continuity purposes.

Key To A Fortune will launch on Channel 4 on March 24.
