LOUIS Walsh has switched minimalistic living in his chic mansion for the action-packed Celebrity Big Brother pad.

The former Westlife manager hunkers down in his stripped-back home when he craves a step back from his showbiz lifestyle.

Irishman Louis, 71, has a huge pad in London which he showcased on The X Factor's 2005 series.

He hosted the judges' house segment of the ITV reality series from his home, with a promo picture showing him perched on his kitchen island table.

The space is open-plan, with neutral off-white walls and sterling silver appliances.

A handful of paintings were propped on the floor, with a few wooden sculptures on a side table.

A bunch of flowers adorned the table yet broadly the space was minimalist, with zero clutter and trinkets.

His fresh open-plan lounge follows the same decor, with light walls and pine flooring.

Louis' passion for pop art is clear, with the paintings offering the only nod to colour in the huge space.

He is known to be a big art fan, with work by Hockney and Andy Warhol on his books.

Meanwhile, in the same space, there's a snug white sofa yet the County Mayo native prefers to perch on a solo armchair.

A white lamp, wooden sculptures and stack of glossy magazines add a personal touch.

Louis Walsh is a two-faced, nasty old man who's turned on the people who made him famous, claims CBB legend Kim Woodburn

Celebrity Big Brother line-up

Who are the 13 stars appearing in the Celebrity Big Brother house? The Sun's Jamie Downham takes a look...

Sharon Osbourne - TV legend - who is a "house guest" on a megabucks deal - said she was doing the show for "a good time not a long time"

Louis Walsh - Irish boyband manager who has never knowingly backed down from a fight and is not above pulling rank over the double bed

Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu - As we know from Love Island, the Ek-ster is capable of throwing about some dramatics to claw her way to the final

Levi Roots - Reggae Reggae Sauce sauce packs a bit of a kick, but its inventor seems quite mild-mannered. Will that change under pressure?

Fern Britton - The former This Morning star called out Phillip Schofield - don't think she won't do the same to anyone who tangles with her

Colson Smith - You'll probably know him best as Corrie's Craig Tinker - but prepare to find out he's not much like his character

David Potts - Ibiza Weekender's breakout star has left that show behind - as well as his trousers by the look of things

Gary Goldsmith - Kate Middleton's uncle is a big signing for ITV, but has proved a divisive booking among viewers

Marisha Wallace - It's not CBB without the role of 'American who doesn't know what they've let themselves in for' and she's doing brilliantly

Nikita Kuzmin - The Strictly pro is coming onto the show fresh off the show's tour. Poor lad probably just wants a rest

Zeze Mills - the social media star has a "no holds barred interview style" - and she hasn't backed away from calling people (well, Louis) out

Bradley Riches - The actor played kindly James McEwan in Netflix hit Heartstopper and he seems just as sweet in the house

Lauren Simon - She's a Real Housewives of Cheshire star and you really don't get on that show by being shy and retiring

It's clear the former Boyzone manager - who slagged off band member Ronan Keating during a particularly vicious CBB comment - likes a fuss-free space.

This will no doubt continue through the rest of his property portfolio, with the former reality TV judge having amassed a slew of homes.

Back in 2017, reported that not only does Louis own his London pad, he has properties in Dublin and South Beach, Miami, too.

He also has an apartment in Dalkey, an affluent Dublin suburb.

His interiors are a stark cry from the colourful Celebrity Big Brother compound in West London.

There's neon and gold on the walls as well as striking cushions and coloured bedspreads - a far cry from Louis' clean aesthetics at home.

Meanwhile, Louis will continue to enjoy the garish decor on the ITV reality series after he was saved by the public from eviction last night.

Instead, RHOC star Lauren Simon was given the boot.
