"I've got quite a few episodes coming up with them this year, I am definitely a part of the family which has been lovely!"
Lucy further added that she has even agreed to be a part of the programme's spin-off show, titled What Happened Next.
The programme debuted last year and saw many of the show's hosts re-visit families and couples who had bought property over the years in order to check-in with them and see if they had managed to accrue their dream life abroad.
Speaking of the spin-off, Lucy revealed: "They've asked me to do their brand new show which is a re-visit.

"As my lovely couple bought their house, I'm now doing a let's go back and see how they are getting on!
"I'm travelling about once a month at the moment for A Place in the Sun which is fantastic and I'm really, really enjoying it!"
Lucy also confessed how the show is far more glamorous than Homes Under The Hammer with the star saying: "On Hammer it would be a lot more building plots and old derelict and disused buildings and pigeon poo.
"No central heating had been on and the buildings would have been empty for years and they were a bit of a hazard to walk into sometimes!
"A Place in the Sun though is on a beautiful beach and they all have stunning balconies that get the sun. They could not be more perfect."
Lucy was chatting to The Sun as she helped to launch Together's Hidden Gems campaign as a result of her years of knowledge and expertise within the property world.
The campaign aims to bring awareness to the rising number of derelict and abandoned buildings in the UK with the number currently standing at a whopping 1.55 million.
Lucy is hoping that her involvement in the campaign can help inspire potential property buyers to invest in derelict buildings and turn them into stunning homes.

She said: "I want people to think about derelict buildings creatively - home buyers and property developers should just look at the empty buildings and take the risk and be brave.
"You can use your imagination to preserve a building and you might even get a bargain in the process!"
