GREG Rutherford's fiancee has issued a new health update to fans after he was forced to pull out of Dancing On Ice.
The Olympic athlete withdrew from the ITV skating show just hours before the final due to injury.
Dancing On Ice bosses had revealed Greg, 37, sustained a "significant injury".
A spokesman for the ITV show said: "Sadly Olympian Greg Rutherford MBE has had to withdraw from Dancing On Ice after sustaining an injury whilst in rehearsals for the final episode of the current series.
"Greg and Vanessa have been such a popular couple this series and have performed some truly memorable routines.
“We will be helping to support Greg and wish him well with his recovery. We also want to thank him for being such a treasured member of the Dancing on Ice family."

In a hilarious follow up to Susie's statement, Greg himself replied: "No I'm not."
Susie had previously worried fans by posting a photo of Greg lying in a hospital bed.
She wrote: "Not quite how @gregjrutherford anticipated spending today.
"Thank you for all your kind messages."
Susie added alongside a video, "Resus is never a fun place to be is it. There's a lot of screaming :( (Not from Greg)."
He had been a favourite to win the 2024 series, as it had already been predicted to be the "the closest ever" final out of all 16 series.
Former Coronation Street star Ryan Thomas instead scooped the crown during last night's live final.
