A GEORDIE Shore legend has been left utterly heartbroken after the sudden death of his beloved 'best mate'.
The former MTV star took to social media as he mourned the loss of a being that was a large part in his life.
Ricci Guarnaccio, 37, is best known for his role in Geordie Shore, for which he first appeared in 2013.
He usually likes to live in the fast lane and is now a successful DJ and presenter.
But the former TV personality posted an emotional picture on Instagram as he announced the death of his beloved pet pooch.
The star was seen planting a kiss on the forehead of his dog Harley who was swaddled in a towel.

He captioned the pic: "RIP HARLEY.
"Lost me best mate today, Absolutely devastated 💔."
His former Geordie Shore co-stars were quick to flood the post with support for their friend.
James Tindale wrote: "Sorry to hear mate, dogs are massive part of the family and the bond and love they give you is unconditional, rip Harley."

A second user sent support as they stated: "Sorry for your loss 🤍 sending lots of love and care and support xxx."

Ricci first rose to fame in the second series of the show before he departed the show a year later in 2013 after his breakup with Vicky Pattison.
He later appeared on a number of popular reality shows including Celebrity Big Brother, Ex On the Beach and Celebrity Dinner Date.
