Jorgie Porter recalls terrifying armed robbery as baby son slept – and reveals their dog saved the day
She shared CCTV images in a bid to catch the intruders
JORGIE Porter has revealed the terrifying moment she discovered armed robbers were trying to break into her home.
The 36-year-old first told fans about the scary incident last year as she shared CCTV images to try to catch the people involved.

Now, she has told how it was her Doberman Stella who saved the day, after she started barking.
The Hollyoaks actress was in bed with fiancé Ollie Piotrowski and their baby boy Forest was fast asleep.
The pair woke when Stella started barking and decided to check their security cameras – and were left gobsmacked when they spotted masked intruders trying to get in.
Jorgie, who is famous for playing Theresa McQueen on Hollyoaks, recalled: “Our dog Stella saved us. She scared them away, so they didn’t get in.

“But it was the scariest thing because we were all in [the house]. And you can see from the CCTV footage that they had things... we don’t know what they were holding. I was asleep, but Ollie heard Stella barking in a different way. So he went to check on her, and when he looked outside... the lights [on the system] were off.
“He phoned the police and they then turned up. Yeah, it was horrible. [Afterwards] we had all these friends and relatives round. We had like a gang in the house, camping together.
"You just don’t know what they’re going to do, or if they’re going to come back, or what. I even said to the police, ‘Please can you just look after us for a bit?’ And they said, ‘Yes, we totally can’.”
Speaking on Invite Only Podcast, she went on to reveal how they had decided to get another dog after being left very impressed with Stella.

She previously told how it was a targeted attack because their alarm had been taken off the wall and cables had been cut.
The star lives with her property developer partner Ollie in a stone-wall home in Cheshire.
Jorgie, who is originally from Manchester, appeared on Dancing on Ice in 2012, followed by I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! in 2015.
