A DANCING on Ice contestant has snubbed the programme and won't return to the show for its final episode this weekend.

It has been claimed that S Club 7 popstar Hannah Spearritt has opted not to return to the show after being left "heartbroken" at her early exit from the ice-skating contest in week two.

It is understood that the 42-year-old has not accepted an invite to return with her fellow class of 2024 for one last hurrah on the ice.

A show insider said: "Show bosses would have loved Hannah to be a part of Sunday's final and skate alongside her fellow cast members of 2024 but as yet, they have not received confirmation from Hannah or her reps that she will be taking part in the show."

It had been hoped that the singer would return for one final skate but it now appears to firmly be on thin ice.

Hannah was left gutted when the Dancing on Ice panel brutally axed her after just two performances.

The star had pulled out of taking part from her former group's epic reunion tour in order to film the show.

Viewers were left fuming when the show unveiled a new twist that 'guaranteed' the star would be sent home.

A huge shake-up meant that the usual skate-off was axed and whoever had the least amount of votes was immediately voted off.

Following the results, TV presenter Holly Willoughby told Hannah: "I'm so sorry, I don't think any of us wanted to let you go at this point."

Hannah replied: "It's sad to see anyone go."

She went on to break down in tears in an emotional video following her exit from the show.

Performing a Frozen-inspired routine to Let It Go in honour of her daughters, Hannah and pro partner Andy Buchanan scored just 20 out of 40, putting them in the danger zone.

The routine came just days after she admitted she had been battling a secret health condition after a tooth infection caused an auto-immune disease flare-up.
