Speaking about her to Ekin-Su on tonight’s Celebrity Big Brother, Louis said: “I didn’t always get on with her.”

He continued: “I can’t say anything bad at all about Girls Aloud. They were brilliant. Great looking girls, great songs."

Louis was famously at loggerheads for over a decade with Cheryl after he infamously branded Girls Aloud fat.

Louis managed Girls Aloud at the time he branded them fat, which led to a series of issues between him and Cheryl.

He was in charge of them between 2002 and 2004, but made it clear from the start he would have preferred to work with a boyband.

They later appeared alongside each other as judges on the X Factor – and took every opportunity to make jibes at each other.

In 2010, Louis compared Cheryl to a peacock, accused her of believing the ITV series was “her show” and taunted her on-air for looking orange.

Cheryl hit back at the time, saying: “Louis is a silly old man looking for attention.”

The following year, the singer claimed Louis only “took the cheques” when he managed Girls Aloud, sparking the Irishman’s retort: “I am a much better manager than she is a singer.

"She seems to be in the fashion business now, selling fake hairpieces, fake eyelashes, fake everything.”

The following year Louis described Cheryl’s rose tattoo on her back as “Chavarama” and something “Katie Price would’ve done”.
