MONTY Don has confirmed the return of his iconic BBC gardening series with a 'first day of filming' post from his famous home.
The 63-year-old green-fingered star took to Instagram to share the exciting news.
Gardening guru Monty, has now delighted fans by announcing the revival of his beloved BBC gardening show, Gardeners' World.
He shared a 'first day of filming' photo from his famous garden in Herefordshire to give fans a taste of what's to come.
The behind-the-scenes photo shows a crew of four in Monty's iconic outdoor space, equipped with cameras and booming mics.
Monty penned in the caption: "First day filming #Gardenersworld."

Fans were over the moon to see that their beloved BBC programme will be returning soon.
Taking to the comments section, one wrote: "I just can't wait."

It comes after Monty Don announced the end of his BBC Two gardening series, Monty Don's Spanish Gardens- and fans paid their emotional tributes.
The star posted a short clip from the 'last episode' of the series.
He captioned the post: "The final programme in my series 'Spanish Gardens' is out this Friday 8th at 8 pm on BBC2. This week I am in the North of Spain, starting in Galicia and the superb Baroque garden Pazo de Oca."
Fans of the show took to the comments section with emotional tributes.
Meanwhile, Monty recently confirmed his future on Gardeners' World after sparking speculation he would quit.
He told : "I was naive."

After revealing he made the comments "at the end of a long year" he added: "I was tired and thought it would be nice to have a rest, but I was naive to say that.
"I can categorically say without any equivocation that I'm very happy to do it for another three years.
