CBB’s Sharon Osbourne says she ‘doesn’t speak to Simon Cowell anymore’ branding him ‘snooty’
SHARON Osbourne has revealed she no longer talks to "close friend" Simon Cowell branding the TV mogul "snooty."
The rock music manager, 71, who famously appeared alongside Simon on The X Factor, spoke about her relationship with the star before heading into the Celebrity Big Brother house.
Asked if Simon had been in touch with her or Louis Walsh ahead of their appearance on the ITV show, she said: “He would not call Louis or I. He is very, what’s the word? Snotty. Simon just is.
"He has his little posse around him, the same people he’s had for years, and that’s who he talks to.
“He’s not really one of these guys who’ll be like, ‘Hey, great. You’ve given us a call. How are you doing? Yada, yada, yada’. He’s not one of those ‘checking in’ friends that see if you’re doing OK.
“We were, in the beginning, the three of us, really close friends. But then he kind of left our group and went on.
“But no, he’s weird as far as friends go, very, very closed off.”
Sharon is earning a whopping £100k-a-day for her five-day guest stint on the show.
But she insists popping back up on CBB is not part of some new plan to further her career.
She said: “I’ve already done it all. I’ve done theatre, I’ve done TV. I’ve done everything I wanted to do.
“That’s why, with something like CBB, it’s to be enjoyed, it’s a great experience and that’s literally it. I’m just here for the laugh and that’s liberating, very liberating.”
