Created by Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt writer Meredith Scardino and produced by the genius that is Tina Fey (30 Rock, Mean Girls), it’s very funny, smart and full of heart.

As Gloria says: “Four grown ladies trying to [be] pop stars? Strap in!”

Billed as the definitive docuseries on the Cold War, this nine-parter takes a deep - and sometimes disturbing - dive into the decades-long frosty relationship between the US, its allies and Russia.

Starting with the development of the atomic bomb in the 1940s, journeying through the years of the Iron Curtain and the eventual collapse of the Soviet Union, and also looking at Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, the series tells some deeply personal stories and features testimonies from world leaders including Ukraine’s President Zelenskyy, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg, former CIA Director Robert Gates and former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice.

Fairy-tale romcom alert! When Maddie’s (Lindsay Lohan) dream man, Paul (Alexander Vlahos), gets engaged to her best friend, Emma, she suppresses her feelings and agrees to be bridesmaid at their wedding in Ireland.

However, after she makes a wish for true love and magically wakes up the next morning in Emma’s place, Maddie thinks all her dreams have come true.

But as the day of the wedding draws nearer and Maddie gets to know photographer James (Ed Speleers), she starts to worry that perhaps her soulmate isn’t who she thought it was.

Okay, the set-up’s a bit corny, but spirited performances and the beautiful Irish backdrop make this a cute guilty pleasure.

Life is unquestionably dramatic for real-life royals, but they’ve got nothing on Wilhelm (Edvin Ryding), the fictional Crown Prince of Sweden in hit teen drama Young Royals.

The third and final season finds Wilhelm dealing with the fallout from his shocking public confession that it was him with Simon (Omar Rudberg) in the leaked sex tape.

But will the world accept him for who he is? Meanwhile, with the school braced for an investigation that could result in its closure, it looks like the end could be nigh for Hillerska.

The first five episodes of the series will land this week, with the finale arriving the following Friday.

Action-packed, explosive heist dramas are all the rage these days, but this smart, fun and spectacular seven-part crime thriller from Mexico shakes up the usual formula.

Channelling the spirit of both Money Heist and Indiana Jones, it introduces us to hustler Miguel (Alfonso Dosal) and accomplice Lilí (Ester Exposito, Elite), who recruit a team of bandits to help them rescue a priceless treasure, located in the shipwreck of a Spanish galleon sunk centuries ago off the coast of Mexico.

But with others looking for it, too, the gang of mismatched misfits won’t have a free run at the treasure.

Chicken Nugget - Available from Friday

Prepare to tuck into a comedy quite unlike anything you’ve seen before. Strange and unquestionably quirky, this South Korean series follows Sun-man (Ryu Seung-ryong), who finds himself facing a bizarre mission to save his daughter, Min-ah, when she’s turned into a chicken nugget by a mysterious machine.

Yes, you read that right. He’s joined on this magical mission by Baek-joong (Ahn Jae-hong), who happens to have a crush on Min-ah.

Can this clumsy and hapless duo find a way to return Min-ah to her human form before it’s too late and something, or someone, gobbles her up? If you can stomach the strangeness, it looks set to be a deliciously silly and surreal telly treat to tuck into.

The 1865 assassination of US President Abraham Lincoln is one of the most notorious moments in American history, and this seven-part historical thriller takes us back to the dramatic 12-day manhunt for prime suspect John Wilkes Booth (played by Anthony Boyle) in the immediate aftermath of the killing.

With impressive period detail and a magnetic performance from Tobias Menzies as Edwin Stanton - Lincoln’s friend and the Secretary of War who led the search - expect a compelling cat-and-mouse drama that doesn’t shy away from offensive contemporary language and violence.

The series begins with a double bill, with the next five episodes then dropping weekly.

Soon, more instances of abuse were alleged, and an increasing number of adults from the local community were detained without evidence or pre-trials, leaving families separated.

Stuck in the middle, desperate to discover the truth, was young and inexperienced investigating judge Fabrice Burgaud. But with the case growing, under the constant glare of intense public and media scrutiny, corners were cut and many judicial errors committed.

Eventually, four of the 17 accused were convicted, with 13 acquitted, their lives ruined. This docuseries investigates the case and fallout from what was later to be termed a ‘judicial disaster’.

If you caught the first two series of this French crime drama, you’ll know that police archivist Astrid Nielsen (Sara Mortensen) is one of TV’s more unusual mystery solvers. Autistic, Astrid has a remarkable memory and uses it - and her analytical mind - to help police detective Raphaëlle Coste (Lola Dewaere) with her more tricky cases.

In this third season, the two women are left scratching their heads by the case of an astrophysicist who dies from a lightning strike, without there having been a storm.

Before long, the pair find themselves dragged into a world of conspiracy theorists and a community of Native Americans.

Meanwhile, the duo face some puzzles in their personal lives, with Raphaëlle reeling after a nasty break up with Mathias, and Astrid wondering if she might be able to have a romantic relationship with Tetsuo.
