Emily Atack reveals baby’s gender and hints at due date as she counts down to giving birth to first child

EMILY Atack has revealed the gender of her baby as well as hinting at the due date.

The former Inbetweeners star is counting down the days to giving birth to her first child.

Emily, 34, is expecting her first baby with her partner Dr Alistair Garner, whom she is believed to have been dating since 2023.

She appeared on BBC Breakfast, where she was invited to speak about her petition on affirmative sexual consent in relationships.

As the former I'm A Celebrity star sat on the iconic red sofa, she revealed just how far along she is.

Emily admitted: "I'm six months pregnant and I wasn't going to say this, but, I am going to say this... I'm having a baby boy,"

She also told the programme that she wants her son to be a part of the movement.

The comedienne explained: "I want him to be a part of a really positive change and I want him to grow up knowing he can talk about these things openly and enjoy his life. I want him to be on the right side of history."

Presenter Jon Kay took to his Instagram story with a behind the scenes snap of him and Sally Nugent.

They both posed with the actress by the sofa after they came off air, but he couldn't help but delight in the exclusive.

He shared: "Emily revealed she's having a boy on BBC Breakfast - and she told us about the kind of world she wants for her son."

We previously revealed the news that the TV personality is pregnant back in December last year.

The pair previously announced their happy news as Emily opened up on her pregnancy habits in an adorable black and white post on Instagram.

She said: "Hello Everyone, it's been a little while but I'm back with some news. I'm delighted to share with you all that we’re having a baby!!

"I've never been so happy and utterly terrified at the same time. Please go easy on me.

"Every day is mixed with thrill, fear, joy, hysteria, topped off with a lot of vomiting - a bit like when you’ve just stepped off of the Oblivion at Alton Towers on a hangover. I’ve got to know my body on such an insane level."

She added: "It's made me appreciate the one I've been given SO much, I'm doing my absolute best to make it a home for the little squid I'm growing.

"We can already sense the baby is reclined on a mattress of peanut butter and jam sandwiches in there, demanding more chocolate buttons. I’m so happy to be writing all of this to you all."
