Holby City stars reunite for brand new show – and it’s worlds away from BBC medical drama
A HOLBY City star has revealed that she has reunited with three former castmates for a new heart-warming charity project.
Rosie Marcel, who played the popular Jac Naylor between 2005 and 2022, will be embarking on a new documentary alongside fellow BBC actors Guy Henry (Henrik Hanssen), Bob Barrett (Sacha Levy) and Sarah-Jane Potts (Eddi McKee).
The four Holby City stars will be creating a new documentary in Romania, produced by a charity called The Pack Project UK.
The five-episode series will see the stars helping to rescue and rehome stray dogs and cats in the country while looking into life at an animal rescue.
Rosie explained to the publication : "I'm an ambassador of The Pack Project UK, and we partner with Care For Dogs Romania, where we take stray and injured animals off the street.
"We put them into kennels, treat them, get them well and hope to find them homes, either here in the UK or in Germany."

The 46-year-old jokily admitted that she had gotten her former co-stars involved in the project after being "very strong with them".
The Holby star also revealed that each actor had their own personal reason for wanting to be a part of the pet-saving documentary.
"SJ [Sarah-Jane] was involved from the offset as we see each other quite frequently, and it was her idea for us to have a YouTube channel," Rosie disclosed.
"We knew then that we needed to get Bob because he'll most definitely cry – and Guy Henry, he's adopted five dogs of his own from the UK and will ask all the questions that viewers will no doubt be asking themselves, such as why adopt from overseas."

The star shared that this will be "the first time the four of us have been together in three to four years.”
She continued: "It's going to be insane, and it's going to be hilarious – I can't wait to see them all. But I also need to prepare them for what's coming."
Rosie also opened up about what she has been up to since her character Jac tragically passed away in Holby City's final episode, which aired in March 2022.
She said: "People are still reaching out very frequently. They're always asking me when I'm going to be back on TV, which is lovely, but I don't know, is the answer!
"I've actually really enjoyed the last few years of not doing anything and looking after my family."
The star admitted that she has been grateful to have the chance to care for her husband after he fell ill over Christmas.
Rosie revealed: "I'm a big believer in that what's meant for you will find you – I'm just supposed to be here looking after my family at the moment and spending some time looking after my charity as well."
