CELEBRITY Big Brother viewers accused Nikita Kuzmin of plotting a showmance despite his girlfriend's sweet post.

Many were baffled when Lauren Jaine was referred to as the Strictly Come Dancing pro's "friend" when she appeared on spin-off show Late and Live.

Fans speculated that Nikita might flirt with Love Island's winner Ekin-Su during his stint on the show.

The speculation arose when Louis Walsh, in conversation with Sharon Osbourne, hinted at a potential romance between Nikita and Ekin Su.

Louis remarked, "I've spotted a romance, a buddy romance," prompting Sharon to inquire, "Between who?"

Louis teased, "Can you guess?" before suggesting, "I think It's Nikita and Ekin-Su. He's always close to her, I don't blame him."

Taking to X, formerly known as Twitter, one user reacted to the theory, writing, "Louis and Sharon gossiping in the corner of the kitchen saying they’ve spotted a budding romance… between NIKITA AND EKIN-SU???"

Another chimed in, "Not Louis Walsh telling Nikita to 'stop looking' at Ekin-Su."

A third fan expressed concern, saying, "Ekin-Su better stay the f**king away from Nikita."

Fans were puzzled when Nikita referred to his girlfriend as his friend during Late & Live.

This confusion intensified after Nikita's girlfriend, Lauren Jaine, shared a loving message on Instagram congratulating him on entering CBB.

One fan questioned why they were referred to as friends, even noting that Nikita's name tag labeled her as his friend, despite the cosy pictures they shared together.

On Lauren's Instagram post, the user wrote: "Why did they refer to you as his friend? Even your badge said friend."

Another user highlighted Nikita's remark about his girlfriend during Late & Live, speculating, "Hmm Nikita’s girlfriend is now his 'friend' on Late and Live? and in his audition tape he said he would be very flirty in the house? he’s planning a showmance?"

Lauren, who is also a model, began dating the Strictly star last October.
