Martin said it was on his bucket list to host the morning TV show
THIS Morning fans are convinced they spotted tension between Martin Lewis and Gyles Brandreth on today’s show.
Martin, 51, made his debut hosting the daytime juggernaut and was his usual straight-talking self as he got stuck into the news review.

And Gyles was keen to put him through his paces during a discussion about money.
Those watching at home were quick to pick up on Gyles's change of demeanour around Martin as they discussed tax cuts.
One person commented: “Martin talking sense, Gyles rattled.”
A second said of Gyles: “Seems slightly subdued.”

“Try and trip up Martin Lewis at your peril, Gyles Brandreth,” remarked a third.
And a four said: “Only bonus is Martin is very anti-government at times, so should be interesting with Gyles on today.”
The Money Saving Expert is no stranger to the show and regularly appears to give his advice.
But he admitted he had always wanted to host the show himself.

He tweeted beforehand: "I've been expert-ing on This Morning for 21 years, in recent times usually from home.
"Well, I'm going in on Monday... As having mentioned off-hand to the producers last week that I'd like to present it ONCE (bucket list thing), they said come on and give it a go!
