Celebrity Big Brother 2024 LIVE — Lauren breaks down in tears after shock nominations as Sharon Osbourne slams Adele

CELEBRITY Big Brother was not one to miss last night as the housemates' nominations were revealed.

The famous faces had to nominate for the first time - and it was revealed that Real Housewives star Lauren Simon will be the star up against Gary Goldsmith tonight.

Shortly after the news was told to the house, Lauren got up from the sofa in tears as she told everyone that she was "in shock".

Sharon and Louis think that the public will save her, meanwhile Ekin-Su confessed that she thinks some people "can't handle her".

Marisha, Nikita, Colson and Gary are the housemates who put her up for eviction.

Meanwhile on Late and Live, Sharon said that singer Adele is playing up her cockney accent - and fans have gone mad on Twitter.

Read our live blog below for the latest news and updates...

  • Where is the Celebrity Big Brother 2024 house?

When ITV brought back Big Brother in 2023, they moved the famous house away from its former spot at Elstree Studios.

The previous compound was actually demolished after the final series in 2018.

Filming moved to Garden Studios, which is a newly-built studio in West London.

  • What are the rules in the Celebrity Big Brother house?

Our celebs have to abide by a series of strict rules if they wish to remain in the Big Brother House.

    These are:

    • No contact with the outside world while they are in the house. The housemates also aren’t allowed to make attempts to communicate personal messages to their loved ones.
    • Housemates are filmed 24 hours a day and must wear their personal microphones at all times.
    • The celebrities must visit the Diary Room everyday.
    • Housemates must take part in nominations and always give a valid reason for their nomination – they are also banned from discussing their choice with their other housemates.
    • They must take part in all of the shopping tasks that Big Brother set them.
    • Unacceptable behaviour will not be tolerated in the Celebrity Big Brother house.
  • Full nominations revealed tonight

Fans can tune in to tonight's episode of Celebrity Big Brother to find out who has been nominated for eviction this week.

Fans have already seen two of the nominations but the remaining decisions will be seen tonight at 9pm.

  • Fans slam Fern Britton over shock nomination

Fans slam Fern Britton on Celebrity Big Brother after she nominated Ekin-Su Culculoglu.

Fans flocked to X, formerly known as Twitter, after seeing footage from the Diary Room.

Fern said: "She's couple of times suggested that I could fit into one of her bikinis and get into the hot tub.

"There's no way I'm gonna do that, but she's asked me two or three times saying, 'We're going to do it, we're going to do it and I'm going to make you over.

"I'm going to put you in different clothes.' It scares me, I don't want to do any of it and I'm not going to do any of it!"

  • Bikini fear

Fern Britton has nominated Ekin-Su for repeatedly insisting she wears one of her bikinis and jumps into the hot tub.

In a sneak peek of Thursday night’s nominations show, the former This Morning star will be seen choosing Ekin as one of her picks.

She will tell Big Brother that she wants Ekin-Su out as she has been ‘scaring’ her with swimwear threats.

Apparently the Love Island winner has told Fern one too many times to put on one of her bikinis for some fun in the tub – and she hates it enough to nominate her!

  • Celebrity Big Brother fans can’t believe Levi Roots’ ‘real age’

Big Brother fans have been left taken aback after Levi Roots revealed his real age.

Viewers of the ITV reality series are loving the Reggae Reggae Sauce founder’s time in the house – yet were stunned on one key detail.

  • Why is Sharon only in the house for five days?

Sharon, who is sleeping in a separate room to the rest of the housemates, explains her short stay is only so she can be with her husband, rocker Ozzy, 75, who has Parkinson’s disease.

She said: “I don’t want to stay away from Ozzy for too long.

“We’re so close as a family.

“I don’t think I have ever gone a week without talking to any of them, ever.

    “Through fights, feuds, everything.

“We still talk and this will definitely be the longest.

“I don’t know how I’m going to cope.”

  • CBB fans spot ‘secret feud’

Big Brother fans are convinced a "secret feud" is brewing between Louis Walsh and Gary Goldmsith after spotting a huge clue.

Sharon branded Gary "insecure" during her deliberation for nomination - and said he was the "odd one out" because he was on a TV star.

Gary looked disheartened when he heard the news and seemed convinced that he will be the first one booted out.

The other housemates tried to comfort him, as former This Morning star Fern Britton jumped up from her seat to console him.

Gary told the group: "To be fair this isn't my world, everyone else has more at risk, so I'm just going back to normal life.

"It's been a mad couple of days."

Ibiza Weekender star David Potts shouted across the room: "Gary, you're not leaving," but a smug Louis whispered: "Not yet."

  • Who is hosting Celebrity Big Brother?

AJ Odudu and Will Best are the hosts of Celebrity Big Brother.

The pair made their debut as Big Brother presenters in October 2023.

A source told The Sun of their return for the celebrity version: “There was huge pressure on AJ and Will’s shoulders when they launched ITV’s reboot of Big Brother but they’ve absolutely risen to it.

“Both had experience but this felt like a really big job and there were whispers ITV might’ve been better choosing a pair of safe hands like Big Brother legends Davina McCall or Rylan Clark.

“Will especially hadn’t been on a proper prime-time production for a good few years, but it’s already hard to imagine the show without them.”

  • Levi Roots ‘told colleague he was alright for a gay guy’

A former colleague of Levi Roots has claimed he once made a questionable comment towards him during a swanky dinner.

According to the PR called Alex, the comment was made during a dinner to celebrate successfully completing a UK book tour.

On seeing Levi enter the house, Alex tweeted: “Years ago, I worked in PR for the publisher of Levis Roots’ first cookbook and went out for dinner with him at the end of the book tour and during dessert he told me I was ‘alright for a gay guy’. Bless, happy memories.”

He added to his 7,000 followers: “It was actually maybe his second book. His first was published by HarperCollins I think, for whom I did not work.”

  • Louis' vote

One of Louis Walsh’s nominations was revealed during last night’s spin-off show Celebrity Big Brother: Late and Live.

Louis was seen in a Diary Room sneak peek as he made his first nomination of the series.

The full nominations will be shown tonight (Thursday) and Louis will be seen saying: “My first nomination is Bradley. I know he will go far, he is talented.

“But he hasn’t lived his life as much as the others. He is too young.

“I prefer the others, the history and their stories.”

That’s it, Bradley. You’re gonna have to grow up….and FAST.

  • Where is the Celebrity Big Brother 2024 house?

The previous compound was actually demolished after the final series in 2018.

Filming moved to Garden Studios, which is a newly-built studio in West London.

  • Viewers slam celeb’s ‘vile’ habit

Celebrity Big Brother viewers have taken to social media to slam Louis Walsh after spotting the star’s ‘vile’ habit.

One wrote: “Omg Louis Walsh’s bitten nails!”

Another said: “Man them nails are vile.”

Someone else commented: “Can’t deal with Louis Walsh’s nails.” And a fourth added: “Louis Walsh must have nibbled all his nails off in the car on the way in. Grim.”

  • Gary takes a tumble

Gary Goldsmith suddenly landed on the floor with a thump after the housemates had gone to sleep.

In the process he revealed a huge ‘tramp stamp’ tattoo across his back – leaving those watching at home gobsmacked.

Colson was seen in hysterics as Gary climbed back in.

  • Sharon's secret feud with James Corden

Sharon was speaking to her fellow The X Factor pal Louis Walsh as they discussed how the star had played the "LA life" to his advantage.

James moved to Hollywood to further his career and landed his very own late-night talk show, The Late Late Show.

Sharon took aim at the star for constantly "throwing out names" as she insisted that that he liked to brag about his A-list connections at any possible opportunity.

Recalling a time she complimented the star on his footwear, Sharon said: "I'd say 'I love your shoes' and he'd say ' yeah Stella McCartney'.

"I would think, I didn't ask where you got them? I don't care!"

She went on to add: "He constantly, constantly throws out names.

"When he got to America, he played the LA game really well!"

Louis then interjected: "Kissing all the right people."

  • Fern reveals reason why she would be forced to leave

Gary Goldsmith told Fern he'd heard a rumour Phillip was meant to be part of CBB.

Fern responded: "Maybe he's coming in as a surprise... I might have to leave at that point [laughs]. Yep."

Long-serving host Phillip ended his partnership with ITV last year after admitting to an 'unwise but not illegal' affair with a younger male colleague.

Fern, 66, famously fell out with Phillip when she left This Morning in 2009 and was replaced by Holly Willoughby.

  • Fan fury

Ekin-Su made a quiet confession to Marisha last night.

She was talking about the break down of her relationship with Davide Sanclimenti and whispered: "He hurt me."

Fans are furious at the suggestion of Davide breaking Ekin's heart.

One wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter: "DAVIDE WHAT DID YOU DO TO EKIN-SU!!!!"

Another added: "That’s a shame Davide hurt Ekin-Su, I loved them both on Love Island."

    Davide? Over to you...

  • Fern's thoughts

Fern made a cutting remark about her rival Phillip Schofield during last night's Celeb Big Brother.

It was suggested that Phil could arrive in the house 'as a surprise', to which she said she would "leave at that point".

Fern also seemed reluctant to speak about her This Morning departure in 2009, despite the general feeling being that she was pushed into it.

The star told Gary: "I honestly don’t know. I can’t say anything. It was tricky at times...it’s another institution."

But speaking about new hosts Ben Shephard and Cat Deeley, Fern quickly added: "I think Ben and Cat are going to do a really good job."

  • Louis vote

One of Louis Walsh's nominations was revealed during last night's spin-off show Celebrity Big Brother: Late and Live.

Louis was seen in a Diary Room sneak peek as he made his first nomination of the series.

The full nominations will be shown tonight (Thursday) and Louis will be seen saying: "My first nomination is Bradley. I know he will go far, he is talented.

"But he hasn't lived his life as much as the others. He is too young.

"I prefer the others, the history and their stories."

That's it, Bradley. You're gonna have to grow up....and FAST.

  • Louis Vs Cheryl

Louis has taken a swipe at Cheryl Cole while chatting about Girls Aloud to Ekin-Su.

Last night, the Irish music mogul - who worked with Cheryl on The X Factor after falling out with the band - made his feelings known in the frank discussion.

He told Ekin-Su: "I didn't always get on with her."

Louis then quickly backtracked: “I can’t say anything bad at all about Girls Aloud. They were brilliant. Great looking girls, great songs."

Louis was at loggerheads for more than 10 years with Cheryl after he infamously branded Girls Aloud fat during their early days.

  • Yoga bunnies

Showbiz life is hectic, but several of the Celebrity Big Brother housemates know how to take a step back.

Levi Roots has been starting his day by practicing yoga in the dark bedroom, despite the others being asleep around him.

Fern Britton has also ducked out of meal times by disappearing off from the chaos to meditate.

    Namaste...

  • Bikini fear

Fern Britton has nominated Ekin-Su for repeatedly insisting she wears one of her bikinis and jumps into the hot tub.

In a sneak peek of Thursday night's nominations show, the former This Morning star will be seen choosing Ekin as one of her picks.

She will tell Big Brother that she wants Ekin-Su out as she has been 'scaring' her with swimwear threats.

Apparently the Love Island winner has told Fern one too many times to put on one of her bikinis for some fun in the tub - and she hates it enough to nominate her!

  • Drop it

Sharon has given her thoughts on fellow Brit-in-America James Corden - and she clearly isn't a fan.

In a sneak peek on CBB's spin off Late And Live, Sharon told Louis Walsh that she dislikes James for 'namedropping' celebs when he speaks to people.

"James Corden does that all the time," she told her pal.

"If I say, I really like your shoes, he'll say, 'Yes, Stella McCartney'.

"I didn't want to know who made them. I just said I liked them."

James is back in the UK, Sharon and her hubby Ozzy are heading back to the UK. Something tells us they won't be meeting up, though...

  • And the little one said...

Well, that was an interesting way to end tonight's show - Gary falling out of bed!

Colson looked most confused about how that even happened and so am I.

The cynic in me thinks he did it on purpose to get airtime. What do you think? Bizarre!

  • Stirring the pot

"Who are we going to lose on Friday?" Louis asked David and Bradley as they got ready for bed.

Again, he said it while grinning wildly.

This man is literally in his element!
