Max George, 35, hits out at troll who branded girlfriend Maisie Smith, 22, a ‘gold digger’ on Dubai holiday

MAX George has hit back at a troll after they branded his girlfriend Maisie Smith a ‘gold digger’.

Maisie, 22, shared a series of snaps from their latest luxury holiday in Dubai, including one of them flying first class, and told fans it was a “week of love and sun”.

Most of her followers rushed to comment on how lovely it looked, but one cruel Instagram user remarked: “She’s gonna p**s your money right up the wall.”

The Wanted singer, 35, quickly closed down the conversation, saying:  “Shut up son”

Maisie’s other snaps showed a glimpse of their lavish hotel, complete with a sink full of rose petals, a loved up picture of the couple, as well as Maisie walking on the beach in her bikini.

Max was clearly not in the mood for trolls because when someone mocked him by asking: “Do people still wear ripped jeans?”, he replied: “Great profile pic lad.”

Fans had thought the couple were getting engaged this trip as Max put on a very extravagant meal – with roses, candlelight and their own saxophone player.

The trip comes after they were blasted for joking they were homeless while their house was refurbished.

She told : "We haven’t got a kitchen and the sofa is thick with dust, so we’re literally at his mum’s house.

"That’s why we go on holiday so much, because we haven’t got a kitchen at home.

"We’re like, ‘We’ll go to Dubai’ just so we can have something to eat."

Last year the couple went to on a cruise around Norway while also visiting Turkey, Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Morocco and New York.
