EASTENDERS fans have been left fuming over a baffling problem with the Queen Vic - and blame Elaine Peacock.
Elaine - played by Harriet Thorpe - arrived in Walford with partner George Knight and his two daughters last May.
The couple are now landlords of the pub alongside Elaine's daughter Linda Carter, but EastEnders viewers are concerned she could be running the pub into the ground.
Elaine has been working hard to keep punters coming to the pub with a number of themed nights.
But she seems to be undoing all her good work by offering too many freebies to customers.
Writing on a Reddit soap forum, one viewer pointed out: "Why is Elaine always giving things on the house? It’s every episode! How are they making any money!?"

Another joked in reply: "They make it all back through A PUB QUIZ FOR THE PUNTERS THEY’LL LOVE IT!"
A fellow viewer commented: "KARAOKE NIGHT! MADAME TELLERINA! my daughter’s drinking herself to death but drinks are ON THE HOUSE HAHAHAHAHAW!"
Meanwhile a fourth added: "I love that in her episode she goes “you won’t hear me say this often” and now she’s giving drinks on the house daily."
They weren't alone with their thoughts on the situation, as another wrote: "Today she gave Kathy a whole bottle of wine! A glass would have sufficed."

Their comments come after fans had picked up on a major blunder involving Elaine.
While in the Queen Vic last year, the Walford residents were all reeling to learn that Karen was behind Albie's shock kidnapping.
The women of the square could not believe how she had acted, particularly as she was a mother herself.
They each took it in turns to slam Karen as they berated her actions.
However, when it was Elaine's turn to speak, her voice sounded far too clear and dis-jointed from her fellow Walford women.
She said: "Filth! That's what you are! Filth!"
The moment quickly went viral on X - formerly Twitter - with superfans branding it as "iconic" and felt that even though it was a soap faux pas fitted with Elaine's camp nature.
EastEnders airs on BBC One and is available on BBC iPlayer.
