Gaby continued: "Ortis and I sort of go and look at the best ways to get the best deals on stuff we all regularly spend money on.
"You name it, we're probably testing it."
Gaby's husband David Osmon and her two daughters have become accustomed to her returning from filming the series with gadgets.
She explained: "I became obsessed with one of the things, it cleans plugs and around the taps and the edges of windows and so much so that I ordered one, so I've got that.

"There's a light I've also bought and I've now sorted out my loyalty cards."
The former Big Breakfast star added: "Every time I come back from filming my husband says 'Ok what have you got this week? What have you been looking at, what are we going to have now?'
"You should see, I text them when there's something. We'll be moving to another room and resetting and I'll be WhatsApping the family saying 'ok girls this is a really good deal, if you go and do this, this and this...' and they'll sort of be like 'thanks mum'.
Gaby, who confessed her husband David proudly takes on dishwasher duties in her household, has admitted she now has a better understanding of the appliance.
Shop Smart, Save Money producers were previously forced to release a statement defending their decision to drop The Gadget Show name after 20 years.
Furious fans had complained about the rebrand and format overhaul by Channel 5 bosses.
However, Gaby defended the move, insisting the show is still gadget-orientated.
She said: "Jon Bentley is still there, he's the one that looks at budget or premium dishwashers!
"But he looks at everything and Harry Wallop is there looking at home insurance, we test everything. Even umbrellas.
"I can say without a doubt nobody is going to feel like they've lost out on those things."
Earlier this month The Sun exclusively revealed how Angellica Bell left Shop Smart, Save Money after one series - despite signing a two-year contract with bosses.
Gaby, who also presents the BBC's Morning Live also praised her best mate Ben Shephard after he was announced as the new host of ITV's This Morning alongside Cat Deeley.
