BBC Breakfast and Morning Live hosts unite for post-work drinks – but two stars are shamed for cheeky snub
THE hosts of Morning Live and BBC Breakfast united for post-work drinks - but two stars were shamed for a cheeky snub.
During Monday's episode of Breakfast Jon Kay had teased how Gethin Jones and Michelle Ackerely would be joining the team for lunch.
After both shows came off air, the group - which also included Sally Nugent, Nina Warhurst and John Watson - had a bite to eat in Manchester.
Morning Live's resident GP Xand van Tulleken also tagged along for the outting.
The group were all smiles as they took a snap to share with fans, however, Nina threw shade at two stars.
She revealed how Sally, 53, and Dr Xand, 45, had ran off without picking up the tab.

Nina, 43, told fans: "Please note @sallynugenttv and @avantulleken shimmied off before the bill came."
Meanwhile, Jon Kay was recently criticised by fans for snubbing two of his BBC Breakfast co-stars.
The 54-year-old took to Instagram last week to post a photo with his colleagues on the iconic red sofa.
Jon, Sally Nugent, Nina Warhurst, John Watson and Carol Kirkwood could all be seen beaming for the group snap.
Posting the sweet moment, Jon told fans: "Full house! It’s not often that we’re all in the studio together, on the same day."
However, BBC Breakfast fans were quick to point out Naga Munchetty and Charlie Stayt were nowhere to be seen.
BBC Breakfast airs daily from 6am on BBC One and iPlayer.
