Love Island finalists SPLIT for second time seven months after leaving the villa and delete each other from social media

LOVE Island's Ella Thomas and Tyrique Hyde have split for a second time, and wiped each other from their social media.

The pair briefly split back in November before patching things up, but now it appears the couple have called it quits for good.

It comes seven months after Ella and Tyrique made it to the Love Island final last summer.

A source close to the couple told The Sun: "They have tried really hard but just been having constant arguments.

"At the end of day they want different things and it's too hard to make it work. They are saying it's over for good this time and there is no going back."

The Sun has contacted reps for both Ella and Tyrique.

Ella's instagram now features mostly shots of herself on her own, with only two shots of her and Ty remaining - one from last November, and one from August.

Tyrique, meanwhile, has no shots with Ella on his grid.

The former couple have also unfollowed each other.

Judging from her socials, Ella seems to be heading off on that classic post break-up holiday as she shared a snap of herself in a limo heading to the airport.

Tyrique is clearly not with her as he posted an instagram story of himself catching up on the football at home.

It appears the split happened in recent days as the exes seemed very loved up on Valentine's Day. Ty treated  Ella to a Louis Vuitton bag worth £1,200.

They also tucked into a romantic dinner for two and spent the night at a hotel where Ty had the room decked out with love heart balloons.

It comes just three months after the pair managed to patch things up after breaking up in secret.

In November, a source told

"Ella and Ty split in secret but got back together and it's been like that for a few weeks now, they are very on and off," a pal told the publication.

"Viewers saw how the dynamic between them can often be fiery and it's been no different since they left Love Island.

"This is the first time Ty has been in a relationship and often Ella can feel let down... she expects a lot from him, and he hasn't been delivering.

With Ella based in Scotland and Ty in Essex, it appears the long-distance romance has added to their struggle to keep their relationship going.
