Love Island feud revealed as former show star takes a savage swipe at All Stars cast

FORMER Love Island star Hugo Hammond has taken a swipe at the cast of All Stars.

The cricketer, who now lives in Australia, poked fun at them for having to go on the show twice to find love.

Hugo – who famously failed to find a connection on the show – is currently loved up with Australian Love Island star Layla Ruby John.

Sharing a video of himself sunbathing topless, he wrote: “At the end of the day… at least I didn’t need to do it twice.”

He added as his TikTok caption: “2nd times the charm so they say! Na all love, get the bag.”

His followers were quick to comment on it, with some saying he just wasn’t invited back.

One person referred to the fact he didn’t find love and told him: “No it because it’s love island, not friend island.”

Hugo hit back with another dig, writing: “It was money island then, it’s money island now.”

Lucinda Strafford, who appeared in the UK version and then the Australian one, remarked: “I feel attacked.”

Hugo appeared on Love Island in 2021 and was coupled up with including Kaz Kamwi, Chloe Burrows, AJ Bunker and Georgia Townend.

He then coupled up with bombshell Amy Day and it seemed to be going well until they got booted out and the former PE teacher described their relationship as “tragic” in their exit interview – leaving viewers shocked.

Speaking after the show Hugo – who said he would never do reality TV again- defended not finding a connection.

He said: “I think potentially I didn’t really want to compromise for love.

“I‘ve got a type and I know what I’m looking for and I wouldn’t say I was picky, but I just didn’t get that spark that a lot of the other boys were looking for with their girls.”
