LIFE is sweet for TV duo Ant and Dec as they wear candy colours and talk of “taking a breather”.
The Geordie pair, both 48, are preparing for their final series of Saturday Night Takeaway, before they rest the hit ITV show.
Speaking in the latest issue of Fault magazine, Ant said: “We just thought it was the perfect time with series 20.
“It seemed a natural point to take a pause and reflect on how we want the show to look in the future.”
It comes days after it was revealed that Ant was expecting his child with wife Anne-Marie.
Big names including pop star Cheryl, TV presenter Holly Willoughby and singer Craig David will feature on the new series, which kicks off tomorrow night.

Cheryl will make her ITV comeback on Saturday Night Takeaway, nearly ten years after stepping down from The X Factor.
The series will also feature a new piece called Get Out Of Me Ear: The Revenge, where A-listers who have been hidden camera victims of the pair over the years turn the tables on them.
