More on Emmerdale

Dean's Emmerdale character Will is married to Kim Tate, played by Claire King, but last year he married his long-term partner Helen Bowen-Green.

His TV wife Claire was in attendance, and he shared a cheeky photo of his "two wives".

Alongside the snap of him with new wife Helen and his soap wife Claire, he wrote: "I was hoping my two wives would be a little more upset when they found out about each other but it looks like they don’t give two hoots."

Over the years, Dean has become a TV favourite amongst fans.

He is best known for playing DC Ray Carling in the Life On Mars and the spin-off show, Ashes To Ashes.

Emmerdale fans work out who stole Will Taylor’s watch - and it’s not a Dingle

The Rotherham-born star started his acting career with a role in rival soap EastEnders in 2001.

Since then, Dean - who goes by the nickname ‘Deano’ - has taken one-off or recurring roles in many TV shows, including Casualty, Wire in the Blood and Shameless back in the day.

Before joining Emmerdale, he starred in Silent Witness, Agatha and the Truth of Murder, and Midsomer Murders.

Now fans recognise Dean as Will Taylor, Dawn Taylor’s dad and Kim Tate's latest husband.
