TOWIE’s trip to Bali has erupted into chaos as the cast take sides over Dan Edgar’s new romance.
Earlier this week The Sun revealed Dan Edgar, 33, and Ella Rae Wise, 23, have had a holiday fling while filming out in Bali.
After learning about their kiss, the cast have taken sides, particularly since Dan’s ex, Amber Turner, is also on the holiday.
Amber and Dan split after six years together in May earlier this year.
A source told The Sun: “On one side you’ve got Diags, Dan, Ella and Jodie – but then Dan’s ex Amber has Elma and ‘the girlband’.
“A huge split between the two groups has formed and they’re avoiding each other as much as possible – but when they come together to film it’s very frosty!
“New rivalries are kicking off and new alliances are happening too – Harry’s siding with Amber after a fall out with Ella. This series is going to be more dramatic than ever.”
Earlier this week, our exclusive pictures showed the new couple with their arms around each other on a sunbed after sharing a kiss.
An insider told The Sun: “Dan and Ella have been growing close while on the away trip with their friends.
“Ella’s always had a thing for Dan and the cast could sense there was chemistry between them.
“On a night out with the rest of the cast, Dan and Ella kissed and have spending time together ever since.
“The fling is set to cause major drama and fallouts between the group.”
Speaking exclusively to The Sun about his fling with Ella, Dan said: “We are away together – we are two of the only single people on the show.
“It has just naturally happened out here. It is early… it isn’t anything deep.”
However, there’s history between Dan and Ella, which previously caused division in the group.
Before his six-year relationship with Amber came to an end, there were rumours Dan had grown close to Ella while he was with Amber.
He first got together with Amber in 2017, but the pair had their ups and downs.
The drama unfolded on the long-running reality programme as Dan and Ella were said to have been spotted dancing together in a club.
It led to rows between Amber and Ella – with the pair unfollowing each other on social media.
Meanwhile Ella split from her mystery man just before Christmas.
The reality star had been dating him since May 2023, sharing snaps of what they got up to on social media, but never exposed his identity.
She implied she was single during the festive period when she reposted a quote on her Instagram story that said: “Some people come to your life just to let you know that you deserve better.”
