POPULAR Coronation Street star Will Mellor has confirmed his exit from the show as Harvey Gaskell.
The show villain has appeared on the programme on and off over the last two years but it seems that he will be walking away once again very soon.
Harvey is currently behind bars after being locked up for the savage murder of Natasha Blakeman.
Since then, ITV viewers have seen glimpses of Harvey during his jail stint, including his restorative justice storyline with Natasha's son Sam as well as his current stint which has seen him plotting revenge on brother Damon.
Over the past few weeks, Harvey has struck up an unlikely working friendship with Adam Barlow in order to take down Damon after he failed to help him from the outside world.
The pair have been having secret meeting in jail with Adam agreeing to help to get Harvey off for Natasha's murder thanks to his knowledge as a solicitor in return for Harvey 'getting rid of' Damon for good.
