ANT McPartlin has broken his silence after confirming wife Anne-Marie is expecting their first child together.
The Sun recently told how the couple, who tied the knot in August 2021, are adding to their family.
Now Ant, 48, has spoken out on Anne-Marie's pregnancy while opening up about his and Declan Donnelly's decision to rest their show Saturday Night Takeaway.
Speaking to , he said: "We need to spend some time with our family. We've both got children."
While this is Ant's first child, Dec, also 48, shares Isla, five, and one-year-old Jack with wife Ali.
We revealed earlier this month that Anne-Marie, 46, is expected to give birth in June.

Anne-Marie, who has two children from a previous marriage, is understood to have had her five-month scan - prompting the happy couple to share their news following weeks of frenzied speculation.
A source said: “This is the news everyone wanted. Ant and Anne- Marie are beyond delighted.
“It’s no secret that Ant has always wanted children, but that it may never happen for him was something he had, sadly, come to terms with.
“When they found out last year, they were absolutely delighted, but obviously kept the news quiet for as long as possible.

“To be having a child two years short of his 50th birthday, with the love of his life, is the stuff of dreams for Ant."
In May last year The Sun exclusively revealed after the current series.
They have hosted the multi-Bafta-winning show winning show for 20 years.
Ant said at the time: "We love making Saturday Night Takeaway, but reaching the milestone of 20 series seemed like the perfect time to pause for a little while and catch our breath.”
Dec added: “We still have a momentous 20th series to look forward to first so we will do our best to go out (for now) with a bang in 2024.”
