Jess refused to speak as Maya quizzed the foursome, including Molly's partner Tom Clare, on the unusual result that saw two long-term exes reach the final of the first ever All Stars series.

Speaking about exes Molly and Callum living together again on the show, Jess replied: "Obviously when I first heard I was very shocked by it.

"And I thought was there anything I was overlooking? I didn’t want to be naive.

"I was scared of being perceived as really bad if Callum and Molly were this 'love story' and I was standing in the way.

"So yeah I was a bit nervous about the whole thing. But Callum was very reassuring and he put it to bed quickly.

"So it was smooth running after that."

Callum aslo reassured Jess, as the couple chatted to Indiyah Polack on The Morning After podcast.

"Yeah even after the first week or two we were friends. And to be fair, I'm glad we kind of got that friendship," Callum said about Molly after Monday's final.

"I know people may have seen past the friendship because they want the fairytale, but that sometimes doesn't happen."

Fans weren't keen to let go of the idea that former couple Callum and Molly will get back together, especially after spotting the pair cooking breakfast together in the kitchen.

But Callum added: "Life is too short, it takes more energy to be bad with someone to be negative, than it does to get on with life. Life goes on."

Jess' remarks came shortly after she was interviewed during the final.

But viewers were shocked that Jess remained silent didn't answer any questions, as they claimed the focus was on Molly and Callum.

One person moaned during Monday's final: "Wtf they didnt even allow Jess to speak?!!!! Nah that's just rude."

Another fumed on X, formerly Twitter: "Poor Jess. I'd be fuming after that interview, she's there with Callum and talk about is Molly and Callum. Had to be mentioned but seriously, that was a Molly and Callum interview, not 2 different couples."

One more reacted: "Are Jess and Tom allowed to speak? They’re giving recurring cast members."

Others thanked Maya and insisted that she spoke to the couples like "one of us" and asked the questions on everyone's lips.

In one incredible reality TV moment she exposed Tom.

She asked "is it weird?" and revealed that Callum had helped him to pick Molly's Valentine's Day gift.

Tom had previously been accused of "recycling" the same chat up lines from his first time in the villa last year, and some of Molly supporters previously accused him of "using" her to get to the final.
