Taking it off the screen and onto the stage, the 63-year-old will be hosting his own one-off London Palladium show that has been "40 years" in the making.

The popular TV host has insisted that audiences will be entertained by a slew of "gags" from him and his co-stars in the show entitled, Bradley Walsh and Friends.

Joining him on stage will be EastEnders actor Shane Richie, Shane's former soap so-star Brian Conley as well as comedian Joe Pasquale.

Sharing the show's posted on Instagram, Bradley gushed about being able to perform on the iconic stage with his friends and backed himself to say it would be one of the audiences "greatest nights".

Writing at length, 'Bradders' said: "It’s finally happened. I’m so proud to announce that after nearly 40 years of knowing each other we are going to do a one nighter at The Palladium [on] Saturday 30th of March.

"We’ve got a 15 piece Big Band , songs , gags , Lord knows what’s going to happen.

"Get a ticket and witness one of THE GREATEST nights."

He then admitted he was planning to ramp up the chaos as he referred to the one-off gig by the four men as "the ministry of mayhem".

It will be the first time that the quartet have performed together on stage.

Fans of the four were left delighted and shared their excitement in the comments section.

One suggested it could be "hilarious" to watch and that it should be filmed for TV, writing: "Film it and put it on Saturday night terrestrial tv! Will be hilarious to watch, love you Bradders."

Another said: “Just what I needed, I cannot wait to see you all together”.

The announcement of his live show comes just days after he sparked worry and concern regarding his "strange" voice on The Chase.

Some ITV viewers suspected his voice sounded like it had inhaled helium - which makes your voice more high pitched.

One said: "Either there's something wrong with my sound bar or Bradley has been sucking on helium balloons."

Someone else said the same, wondering: "Why does Brad sound like he's swallowed helium??"

Yet another wrote: "Bradley Walsh inhaled some helium or something?"
