DAVE Myers was beaming as he paid tribute to his Hairy Bikers show amid his cancer and anorexia battle.
The beloved presenter, 66, was back on TV screens with his pal Si King for their new series The Hairy Bikers Go West.
It saw the pair return to Dave's native Lancashire which turned out to be an emotional journey for him.
During the episode Si told him: "It’s great getting back here with my best mate. We didn’t think 18 months ago that we’d be on the bikes again wandering around Dave’s backyard and it's wonderful that we are."
Smiling at his best pal's comments, Dave replied: “It’s been glorious. The motorcycling’s been glorious. What can I say - it feels so good to be alive.”
Dave was diagnosed with cancer back in 2022 and has decided not to reveal what type of the gruelling disease he is battling.
