Coronation Street’s Will Mellor shows off incredible £1.2k a week Lanzarote holiday – but is cruelly shamed by fans

CORONATION Street's Will Mellor is living the good life, as he showed off his incredible £1.2K a week Lanzarote holiday.

But while the actor, 47, soaked up some winter sun, he was also cruelly holiday-shamed by some fans.

Will revealed he was staying in a luxury villa, and talked about the importance of "recharging your batteries."

The actor then encouraged his fans to jet off on holiday, and "get out of the rat race".

He ended the short clip with: "Go grab life people, make some memories!"

While most of his fans enjoyed the video, some fans were not so kind, and pointed out that not everyone can afford to go away, with one saying: "Some of us don't have the chance to go on holiday."

However, his loyal followers jumped to his defence, with another fan writing: "I think he means make memories whatever works for you, it might be a couple of hours somewhere."

This isn't the first time Will has been trolled over taking a holiday.

Last summer, he was forced to defend himself for enjoying family trip abroad.

In August, the former Strictly star called his followers out after he was accused of "always being on holiday".

But not taking it lying down, Will addressed the trolls: "I post pictures and videos of me enjoying my time with my family away and all that stuff.

"And I've had a few comments saying 'you just spend your whole life on holiday, it's alright for you'," he said in a mock whiney voice.

"As if. I work away a lot and I don't see my family when I'm working away and I feel a bit guilty.

"So when the summer comes around and my daughter is off school, I try and take off as much as that time as I can so I can just spend quality time with my family and make memories, enjoy it and grab as much of it as I can before I have to go back to work and then I don't feel so bad," he added.

Fans rushed to reassure and support, with one writing: "You should not have to explain. Just enjoy the quality time with your family."

"Will why on earth are you explaining yourself to anyone. You work hard and are entitled to do what you want when you want!! How dare anyone even question you," echoed another.

Before his rant, he had shared snaps of from some of holidays with his family but jealousy got the better of some people.

One fan wrote: "An other hol (SIC)", while another said: "Are you always away on your jollies??"

Another added: "Life is one long hol for him !!"
