Claudia Winkleman reveals unlikely beauty secret on set of The Traitors
The presenter has previously admitted to using tea bags as a tanning alternative
CLAUDIA Winkleman was forced to take stock when she ran out of fake tan during The Traitors — and used gravy instead.
The bronzed presenter needed an emergency top-up after a week filming the BBC reality show at the remote Ardross Castle in the Scottish Highlands.

Claudia, 52, recalled: “I didn’t have my normal fake tan there because I was in the castle, so what I thought was, ‘Let’s just use something!’.
“I don’t think I’m allowed to say a brand, but it was gravy granules.
“I’d had a spray tan, but it was episode five - round table, you’re wearing tweed, but what else do you need? Gravy granules.
"They came from a shop - there are shops there - and it’s really good. It really works.”

Claudia, who also co-hosts Strictly Come Dancing with Tess Daly and is presenting the second series of The Piano on Channel 4, made the surprise admission on the latest episode of the BBC1’s Would I Lie to You? which is available on iPlayer.
She has previously admitted to using Bisto and tea bags as a tanning alternative when she was a student 30 years ago.
But viewers will be surprised to learn she revived the cheap trick for the multi-million pound, prime time TV show.
Claudia always jokes that her fake tan is just one of two skills she has when it comes to the job of fronting TV shows, saying: “All I do is paint myself orange and read from an autocue.”
