A PLACE in the Sun’s Danni Menzies has shared a rare health update, revealing the devastating long-lasting impact of her horror moped crash in 2022.
The 35-year-old shared that she had recently visited an Audio Vestibular doctor as she is still suffering more than a year after the crash.
Danni presented A Place in the Sun for six years, from 2016 to 2022.
She left the Channel 4 property show to pursue other opportunities. However, later that year, Danni was involved in a horrific moped accident, which has had a long-lasting impact on her.

The A Place In The Sun star was rushed to hospital in after being hit by the stolen vehicle, which was travelling at 30mph.
Danni was knocked out after two females - who were attempting to steal an unattended moped - lost control of the automobile.
Sharing details of the accident on Instagram at the time, Danni wrote: “Sooooo…. On Saturday, I was taken out (on the pavement!) by a stolen moped that lost control.
“Didn’t see it coming, and it’s not looking pretty right now, tbh.”

Following the smash, Danni was left with a huge gash on both her lip and eyebrow, which have left her with permanent scars.
She was also left suffering with post-traumatic stress disorder and post traumatic vertigo.
Briefly opening up in an Instagram post in 2023, Danni said: “The scar is there and I look different, not much I can do about that now. We move! I’d just like to say thank you so so much to @skinfluencer.official who has been helping me with the best treatments and to my amazing therapist who’s really helping me process the trauma.”
Now she has shared a significant health update, revealing that she is still suffering as a result of the crash.
“A bit of life lately,” Danni wrote as she shared a photo dump of pictures, including a selfie and a recent doctor’s visit.
She continued, explaining that one picture was her “seeing the Audio Vestibular doctor about why I often feel like the room’s spinning when I lie down since my accident.”
While she is still suffering, Danni’s other pictures show she is in good spirits and enjoying working out at the gym.
Danni is focused on her health
Danni’s recent health update proves she hasn’t fully recovered after the crash. However, the TV star is still focused on her health and fitness and regularly shares of her in the gym on social media.
Danni is a big fan of lifting weights and always does so in style.
