ANGELLICA Bell has left Channel 5’s flagship consumer show after just one series.

The 47-year-old was the face of Shop Smart, Save Money after its controversial rebrand from the beloved Gadget Show last year.

, who shot to fame presenting on the BBC’s children’s station CBBC in the noughties, had hosted alongside Ortis Deley.

However, The Sun can exclusively reveal she’s walked away from the programme despite signing a two-series deal with producers.

The new run is scheduled to start on February 28 without the star, though Ortis, 50, will be back alongside Gaby Roslin, Georgia Barrett and Jon Bentley, who hosted the original Gadget Show from 2004.

Channel 5 and Angellica’s reps declined to comment when approached by The Sun.

It comes after she was ditched from The Martin Lewis Money Show by ITV bosses last year.

Execs had blamed Angellica’s decision to join their Channel 5 rival for the secret sacking, calling it a conflict of interest.

But sources close to the Magic Radio host said producers were aware of Angellica’s decision to work on the show.

Shop Smart, Save Money producers were previously forced to issue a lengthy statement to furious fans after ditching The Gadget Show brand.

They said: “While the latest series has proved popular, we acknowledge that there has been some negative feedback regarding the recent format change.

“We understand that change can sometimes be met with mixed reactions, and we appreciate the feedback we have received from our viewers.
