Emmerdale newcomer Ella’s ‘secret connection’ to serial killer Meena Jutla ‘revealed’ after giveaway comment

EMMERDALE newcomer Ella Forster has appeared to hint to a 'secret connection' to Dales icon Meena Jutla.

The village's latest character, played by former Coronation Street actress Paula Lane, has already begun to make an impact on her new friends.

However, it was her latest comments that appeared to hint at their being more than meets the eye with Ella.

Emmerdale fans were first introduced to the character when she got pally with Mandy Dingle, played by Lisa Riley, at the Vet's ball.

A huge confrontation led to Ella walking out on her boss in order to stick up for Mandy after he publicly humiliated her.

Ever since, the two have stayed in contact with Mandy being able to wrangle a job interview for Ella at Manpreet's GP as a rectipinist.

She has also started to become close to Dawn Taylor and was seen having a few drinks with her pals at The Woolpack.

The hot topic of conversation was Belle Dingle and Tom King's ill-fated wedding.

It sparked Ella's interest and she was soon hearing all the juicy gossip from her fellow Dales residents about their own disastrous big days.

Ella seemed to take a particular keen ear to hearing about Dawn and Billy's day being disrupted by the soap's iconic villain Meena.

Dawn told her the story of Meena and how she attempted to block the pair from marrying in a hostage-like situation.

Soon, Ella was desperate to chat to Manpreet about her "crazy sister" although it was promptly shut down by Dr. Liam as a result of Meena brutally murdering his teen daughter, Leanna.

Ella ended up quipping: "I’m starting to think this place is a bit nuts."

But could there be more to Ella than meets the eye?

Does she really have a connection to Meena or could she just be stumped by the shock revelations of years gone-by in the village?
