Love Island fans baffled over ‘final dates’ and blame ‘budget cuts’ for show shake up

LOVE Island All Stars fans were left baffled after the boys prepared dates for their girls in the villa last night.

Fans have come to expect the Love Island couples who make it to the final to be whisked off on unforgettable final dates.

Previously outings have included yacht trips and dinners in some incredible settings.

And Tom Clare, who returned for All Stars, was allowed to drive a Ferrari during his date with ex Samie Elishi last year.

But this year the boys were tasked with preparing Valentine's dates at the villa - using stuffed animals and helium balloons.

Many fans rushed to social media to have their say on, with one writing: ";So they’re not getting final dates, but boy prepared dates? Increase the budget next year, guys."

Someone else said: ";They’ve hardly had first dates let alone final dates, this series has been rushed af."

And a third added: "Those dates felt so performative and staged."

Last year Whitney Adebayo and Lochan Nowacki were the lucky couple to get the yacht trip while Ella Thomas and Tyrique Hyde enjoyed an intimate and very romantic dinner.

The Love Island All Stars final will air in just days on Monday, February 19 - meaning there's not much time for bosses to make up for the underwhelming dates.

While the boys were getting busy in the villa, the girls were treated to spa day.

But a conversation between Molly Smith, Arabella Chi and Georgia Steel left fans fuming.

Viewers branded the conversation 'scripted' and slammed producers for the 'fake' scenes.

One said: "What in the scripted hell was that? Like Molly and arabella would have that conversation with Georgia willingly."

A second wrote: "The Sophie and Georgia scene could of come straight out of Towie, looked so scripted the way she walked in etc."

"These conversations that the girls are having seem scripted," said a third.

While a fourth commented: "These days out are so scripted."
