WHEN it comes to the skincare industry, beauty is big business.
One person who knows this only too well is entrepreneur and Dragons' Den hopeful, Jasmine Wicks-Stephens.
Jasmine Wicks-Stephens is an entrepreneur and owner of six-figure skincare brand Faace.
The businesswoman is also CEO and founder of Known PR, which is a beauty public relations firm.
It’s really important that you give your product a clear goal and make sure it’s going to stand out.

She drew upon her industry knowledge and contacts to design Faace’s first products.
The mum-of-two told The Sun's Fabulous that she created her unique brand after having her children, as she didn't have "enough time for skincare".
She used her personal savings to cover the initial costs of the products.
Jasmine told us: “I thought maybe I should create a routine that was really simplistic to understand and use.”
“But still with lots of really good ingredients and lots of good stuff in there so you wouldn’t feel like you’ve completely fallen off the skincare wagon.
“I wanted it to be that you could apply it anywhere, at any time.”
Faace is a skincare brand, that targets hormonal skin.
The brand’s products have become focused on helping and nurturing skin affected by menstrual cycles and menopause.
The company sells four different masks, two cleansers, a moisturiser and a soap bar that can be used on your face and body.
For hormonal skin, the brand’s best-selling Period Faace, a mask with lavender to balance cells and zinc to fight breakouts, costs £27.
You get an average of 40 uses per tube - this means it costs as little as 68p per use.
The brand’s Menopause Faace Daily Face Cream costs £31 for a tube.
The cream includes collagen-boosting, super-hydrating and anti-inflammatory ingredients for women with skin suffering from perimenopause and menopause symptoms.
Speaking about her company Faace, Jasmine told us: “When I launched the brand, I was looking at it with my consumer hat on, rather than my business owner hat.
“Everything we did was with our customer in mind.
She added: “It’s really important that you give your product a clear goal and make sure it’s going to stand out.”
As the founder of Faace, Jasmine will be appearing on Dragons' Den to ask for investment into her company.

Talking about the future of her company, Jasmine told The Sun: “We’ve got a lot of exciting things lined up for the next few months.
"I’m set on growing the brand and growing awareness around it.
